Lawrence (Larry) Jones is an international freelance graphic designer, illustrator, copywriter, photographer and web designer and artist based in Raleigh, NC, USA.

From 2005 to 2007 he lived in England and traveled Europe photographing Spain, Italy, France, England, Scotland Amsterdam and around the Baltic Sea. He amassed a huge bank of digital and film images and continues to develop and process these into photographs, prints, drawings and paintings.

He received his BA in Advertising from UNC Chapel Hill. While there he also completed coursework in photojournalism, drawing, design, and art history.

While in England he studied relief, intaglio, and lithographic printmaking at Southhill Park in Bracknell, England.

Returned to NC in 2007, he began teaching photography and art in at the Raleigh Sertoma Arts Center and the Durham Arts Council. He became a member of The Carter Building family where he operated a fine arts studio in the Glenwood South area of Raleigh, NC. In 2009 he decided to build a home studio at his house near Umstead Park. He is still very much a part of the Carter Building family and operates as the Carter Building webmaster and enjoys helping other Raleigh Artists with web design services. Currently he devides his time between web consulting, painting and teaching teens painting, drawing, digital arts and photography.
